Tourism promotion space

Passengers travelling from the Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal to outside the Schengen area now have the opportunity to see a splendid promotional video on Iceland, in a new tourism promotion space on Level 1 of the South Building, run in collaboration by the Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal and the Iceland Naturally tourism promotion project.

The video starts with a virtual take-off from the Terminal, at the start of a spectacular sightseeing flight over Iceland, with all its magnificent natural beauty and wide open spaces - the central highlands, Þingvellir, the Eldborg crater, Breiðafjörður, the North and the south coast – giving a highly unusual perspective on the country. Music is composed by Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson. The video is produced by Gagarín. The promotion is designed by Árni Páll Jóhannsson, and cameraman is Karl Óskarsson.
