Stefán is born in 1959. He holds a BA degree in History and Political Science from The University of Iceland (1985). Stefán was Town Clerk and Financial Manager of Reykjanesbær 1988-1996, Managing Director of Stapafell department store in Keflavík 1996-1999 and Financial Manager for Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal 1999-2000. Stefán has been a Director for Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal Ltd. since 2000, currently as Director of Operation.
