Ómar Ingvarsson Job title:   Director, Terminal and Assets Operations

Ómar Ingvarsson was born in 1958. He completed his journeyman qualification as an electrician in 1979, and in 1988 he graduated with a BSc in electrical engineering from Odense Teknikum in Denmark. In 2007-8 he pursued master’s studies in Airport Planning and Management at Cranfield University in England. Ómar was Operations Manager of the Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal 1989-99, Director of Airport Operations at the Civil Aviation Administration at Keflavík Airport 1999-2005, and Director of Planning and Development 2005-8. Ómar is now Director of Terminal and Assets at the new company Keflavík Airport Ltd.
